Congratulations Dr. Sam!

Congratulations to Samantha (Sam) Anderson for successfully defending her PhD thesis in Biochemistry.

During his thesis, Ben has been studying an important transmembrane interaction motif using computational and experimental methods. She has found evidence supporting the theory that wak hydrogen bonding and van der Waals forces are at the core of the stabilization of an important membrane helix-helix  interaction motif.  Sam has published so far two articles, with two more likely to come.

Sam will continue to work as a postdoc in the lab as she prepares for the next step in her scientific career.
